Billboard's list celebrates songwriters with the most No.1 Hits on the Billboard Hot 100 - written entirely by them. The list dates from the launch of the Hot 100 in August 1958 to this week's Hot 100 (dated October 31st 2020). Per Gessle takes a place on the list as the sole writer on Roxette's 'The Look' (1989)', 'It Must Have Been Love' (1990) and 'Joyride' (1991).
