Little Simz, Jamie N Commons and more have been nominated for Ivor Novello Awards. Winners will be announced for the 65th year on Wednesday 2 September.
Following the announcement of their Rising Star Awards nominees earlier this month, which saw recent UMPG signing Griff up for the new award, The Ivors have revealed the rest of the 2020 nominees.
Little Simz's 2019 album 'Grey Area' is up for Best Album, while Lewis Capaldi's 'Hold Me While You Wait' (co-written by Jamie N Commons), and 'Higher Love' performed by Kygo x Whitney Houston – Higher Love (co-written by Will Jennings) are nominated for PRS for Music Most Performed Work.
The Best Television Soundtrack category, meanwhile, sees Tom Hodge's soundtrack for 'Rise of the Nazis' (via Decca Publishing) and Labrinth's 'Euphoria' score up for awards.
