Universal Music Publishing Group was named Publisher of the Year at the 22nd annual BMI Latin Awards, which took place on March 31st at the Fontainebleau Hotel in Miami Beach, Florida. The event honored the songwriters and publishers behind 2014’s most-performed Latin songs on radio and television in the U.S. In addition to the company winning BMI Latin Publisher of the Year, many UMPG writers were recognized at the event for their work on some of the year’s biggest Latin songs.
