Universal Music Publishing Group has signed breakout Brazilian star Bruno Martini to an exclusive publishing agreement.
An early international success with several chart-topping hits and Platinum records, Martini is the second biggest streamed artist in Brazil and South America. His debut record, “Hear me Now,” surpassed 350 million streams and bested every record set by a Brazilian artist. Martini’s recent singles "Never Let Me Go,” “Living On the Outside” and “Sun Goes Down” are receiving tens of millions of plays worldwide. His hot streak continues with latest single “ROAD” produced with legendary artist Timbaland, which has racked up over eight million plays in just seven weeks.
“I’m very excited to be part of the Universal Publishing family. As well as supporting me as an artist, this relationship opens a lot of opportunities for me as a writer and producer, including working with a range of different artists. This is a huge moment in my career,” said Martini.
“Bruno Martini is showing that he’s a proven talent, even in the early stages of a promising career that has positioned him as a rising star on the global music scene,” said Alexandra Lioutikoff, EVP, Latin Music at UMPG. “UMP Brazil MD Marcelo Falcão and the UMP Latin team are thrilled to welcome Bruno to our family of songwriters and look forward to his continued success.”
Signed to Universal Music’s Aftercluv Dancelab, Martini’s ‘Hear Me Now’ is Platinum in Sweden, Italy, Brazil and Mexico. He has a major sync under his belt for global campaign soundtrack for Corona Sunsets, and produced recent remixes for J Balvin, Alan Walker, Juanes and JC Cooper. Martini is also a staple festival headliner and has played at Electric Zoo, Ultra Brasil, Rock in Rio, Tomorrowland, Beyond Wonderland and Creamfields Chile.
