MIAMI, March 7, 2019 – Universal Music Publishing Group (UMPG) and its songwriters were honored for their contributions to thirteen of the most-performed Latin songs of 2018 at the 27th Annual ASCAP Latin Awards (El Premio ASCAP) held March 5th in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

The UMPG writers recognized at the event exemplify the diversity of the company’s global roster, from Bachata King Romeo Santos, to Brazilian superstar Anitta, to Colombia’s Sebastian Yatra, Mexico’s Raymix, and composer Aytekin Atas from Turkey.
