Ilse DeLange 'Eye of the Hurricane'

On 15th September 2012 Ilse DeLange released her seventh studio album ‘Eye of the Hurricane’ – the follow up to 2010’s double Platinum selling ‘Next To Me’. ‘Eye of the Hurricane’ is the first album Ilse has recorded in the Netherlands, and this time she produced the album herself.  The album went straight to the top of the Dutch charts on release, going Gold almost immediately – with singles ‘Hurricane’ and ‘Winter of Love’ receiving heavy radio support.

Crystal Castles 'III'

Crystal Castles have released their third studio album ‘III’. The album was recorded mostly in Warsaw and Berlin, with the duo taking a different approach from their previous LPs  - enforcing a ‘no computers’ rule, and recording everything direct to tape.

The album has already caused a stir amongst fans and critics alike, with NME awarding it 9/10 and declaring,“Being doomed never sounded so beautiful” whilst The Independent  (4/5) suggest, “If the Mayans were right and the world really is going to end this December, you won't hear many better soundtracks than this.”

Worldwide success for the Future Presidents

Dutch songwriting / production team Future Presidents have obtained worldwide success with ‘Electric Shock’ – a track performed by hugely popular Korean girlband f(x). The track was released in June 2012, and within an hour it achieved an ‘all-kill’ across various Korean music portals. ‘Electrick Shock’ went to No. 1 in Korea, topped the electronic music charts in the US and Canada and charted in numerous other countries around the world. It quickly became one of the most popular videos on YouTube, with over 14 million views in only two weeks.

Mumford & Sons release their second studio album ‘Babel’ today – the hugely anticipated follow up to their Brit award winning debut ‘Sigh No More’.
