ASA TACCONE is an award-winning and versatile writer, producer and musician whose experience extends into theatre film and television. In addition to being the singer and the main songwriter for his band Electric Guest, Taccone co-wrote and co-produced the Billboard No. 1 hit “Feel It Still,” which earned rock band Portugal.The Man a 2018 Grammy Award for “Best Pop Duo / Group Performance.”  Taccone earned a Grammy nomination for his work on H.E.R’s album “Backof My Mind’ and the Luisa Sonza album song he wrote and produced was part of her 2024 Latin Grammy nominated album ‘Escândalo Íntimo’’.  He has also written and /or produced songs for Carly Rae Jepson, Gus Dapperton, Charlotte Gainsbourg, Amine, Phantogram, Foster the People and Badshah  amongst others. 

Since 2005, Taccone has written and produced music for Saturday Night Live’s Digital Shorts, with songs performed by musical comedy trio The Lonely Island . Taccone won an Emmy for “Dick In A Box,” was nominated for “Motherlover,” and wrote music for countless other Digital Shorts including “I’m On A Boat” and “Like A Boss.” Most recently he wrote and produced "Here I Go" featuring Charli XCX . 

Taccone’s songwriting-for-television resumé includes penning music for Lady Gaga’s episode on The Simpsons, Kanye West’s episode on The Cleveland Show, Charles Bradley’s episode on American Dad and songs on Portlandia including “Dream Of The 90s”.  He produced and co-wrote with The Weeknd “World Class Sinner’ from HBO Show ’The Idol’ which GQ called ’the song of the summer’.
