St. Louis native JAYLIEN Wesley holds quite a few titles on his résumé: rapper, singer, songwriter, producer, & composer. In the studio, he has produced/written for Akon, will.i.am, Britney Spears, Ty Dolla Sign, Chris Brown, T-Pain, Snoop Dogg, & more. Raised in a musical household - his father was a college choir director and his mother was a choir singer - he developed an early love of music, picking up the piano, saxophone, and clarinet. Inspired by producers like Quincy Jones, Kanye West, Timbaland, Pharrell Williams, and Max Martin, he crafted beats for local artists while he was still a high-school student. His first major production effort was for rapper Huey's 2007 debut, Notebook Paper. While his standout achievements behind the boards include producing and writing the single "Beautiful" by Akon featuring Colby O'Donnis and Kardinal Official. “Beautiful” has sold millions across the world since it’s release. In 2013 he went on to co-write the song "Scream & Shout" featuring will.i.am & Britney Spears. "Shout" went on to sell close to 4 million singles in the US alone. 

In 2013, Jaylien founded record label imprint, BlessandSee Music. He is responsible for the signing and developing of GOOD Music's Kacy Hill, in addition to producing her breakout single "Experience," which led to her signing with Kanye West. 

After writing for a string songs of other stars, in 2015 JAYLIEN decided to focus on his own music as a solo artist . Initially expanding his fan base on the Internet, he released his debut EP on July 15, 2016. ‘Summer's Over’ EP contained seven hybrid tracks that blended electronic dance synths, trap beats, soul, R&B, and both his raps and singing. A blend of Frank Ocean, the Weeknd, and the-Dream, Summer's Over featured the tracks "We Fcuk" and "Hotel Costes." In 2017 JAYLIEN hit the studio with Keyshia Cole and Young Thug, which spawned the song he co-wrote, “Act Right” for her album ‘11:11 Reset’ via Epic Records. Recently featured on Junior Black’s latest release “Easy Loving” via Ultra Music, 2 songs on rising talent Una Sand’s debut EP via Universal Sweden, & penning the first single release for Atlantic Records signee K’Ron which features Ty Dolla Sign, “No Bfs”... JAYLIEN is truly on a mission. In the summer of 2018 he also managed to compose music for a fashion film by luxury streetwear brand Heron Preston & create compositions used in an Alexander Wang x Pepsi Black collaboration. JAYLIEN took the rest of the summer to put the finishing touches on his second project, which has spawned 2 singles “Pretty Woman” and “Summer’s Over Pt.2”, in which he produced, wrote, & recorded himself. With the long awaited 12-song project  “Summer’s Over 2” finally out, expect 2019 to be nothing short of elevated excellence from this musical talent!
