David Musumeci and Anthony Egizii, collectively known as DNA Songs have co-written and produced some of Australia’s most successful pop songs of the past two decades. 2019 saw DNA move over to Universal Music Publishing to work with the amazing team of Andrew Jenkins and Arwen Hunt.

Timomatic’s “SET IT OFF” & ‘IF LOOKS COULD KILL”, Reece Mastin “GOOD NIGHT” & “SHUT UP AND KISS ME”, Samantha Jade “WHAT YOUVE DONE TO ME” & ‘FIRESTARTER”, Nathaniel “YOU” &  “LIVE LOUDER”, “BEST NIGHT OF OUR LIVES” Boyzone, “NOT GIVING UP” The Saturdays, “NEVER BE THE SAME” Jessica Mauboy, “KEEP TALKING” Cyrus. “YOU RUIN ME” & “IN MY BLOOD” The Veronicas, “DRIVE” Tonight Alive and “WINGS” & “DEAR LIFE” Delta Goodrem. YOU RUIN ME was # 1 for 3 weeks on the ARIA singles chart, and certified triple platinum (210,000 units) -   IN MY BLOOD hit # 1 for 2 weeks on the ARIA singles chart and stayed on the charts for 4 months, certified double platinum (140,000 units). Delta’s album WINGS OF THE WILD went to # 1 album in its first week and was certified gold, with sales in excess of 35,000 units, with the lead single WINGS achieving double platinum status and # 1 position on the ARIA Singles chart.

DNA co-wrote and produced “COME WITH ME” for Ricky Martin; the song was a Top 3 Hit in Australia and appeared on all major Latin charts around the world, culminating in a Latin ASCAP Pop Award in April 2014.

DNA wrote and produced “SOUND OF SILENCE”, as performed by Dami Im at the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest which saw her take out second place with DNA collecting the prestigious Marcel Bezençon Composer Award for best and most original composition as voted by the participating composers, 40 out of 42 countries.

DNA also secured the lead single RISK IT from the new Jessica Mauboy TV series THE SECRET DAUGHTER through Screentime/Channel 7, which was released early November 2016, co-written with Tania Doko and Jorgen Elofsson. It was on the soundtrack to the series which was # 1 for three weeks on the ARIA Albums chart and has sold in excess of platinum sales.

To cap off another great year, DNA co-wrote and produced the winner’s single for the 2016 series of The X Factor Australia for the winner Isaiah Firebrace with their song IT’S GOTTA BE YOU – the single reached the Top 30 nationally on the ARIA charts. The song has accumulated over 240 million streams on Spotify, and was awarded platinum status in Sweden with a Top 60 on the global Spotify Charts.- - it is the second most streamed song by an Australian artist in Sony Music Australia’s history.

DNA also co-composed and produced the song DON’T COME EASY which was chosen as the Australian entry for Eurovision 2017 sung by Isaiah in Ukraine which resulted in a a ninth place at the event.

With the third year running, DNA co-wrote and produced WE GOT LOVE performed by Jessica Mauboy for Eurovision 2018 in Portugal.

DNA cowrote and produced 6 tracks on the Jessica Mauboy album HILDA which was released in October 2019 and debuted at # 1 on the ARIA charts - the single LITTLE THINGS has been certified platinum, in excess of 70,000 units (August 2019).

They continue to write with Guy Sebastian, Delta Goodrem, Samantha Jade, Isaiah Firebrace, Human Nature, and The Veronicas for their upcoming 2020 releases, together writing for new projects with Mike Waters, Kota Banks, PinkIsCool and Montaigne.

DNA has achieved 7 #1 ARIA Singles and 20 Top 10 hits and has sold in excess of 2 billion units combined physical and downloads/streams as writer/producers as of end of 2019.
