Australian born Michael Fatkin has not only been Grammy and APRA nominated, he is also a GMA Dove Award & BMI Award winning songwriter & producer – he is signed to Universal Music Publishing worldwide in conjunction with the Swedish based publisher The Kennel.

Michael’s sought after talent led to him working with Australian/NZ artists such as Jessica Mauboy, Stan Walker, Jai Waetford, The McClymonts, Isaiah Firebrace – he also co-penned and produced Daryl Braithwaite’s 2020 hit LOVE SONGS and recently finished working on the 2021 upcoming single for icon Marcia Hines. He continues to work on locally produced shows like The Voice Australia 2021.

Michael launched himself into a writing frenzy straight away after signing his publishing deal, which resulted with him co-writing and producing three tracks on the debut EP for Evie Irie, signed to Republic Records – their creative relationship continued with single releases LITTLE MORE LOVE and BETTER THAN THIS.

In a relatively short space of time, Michael achieved releases with R3HAB, Goodboys, Chungha, Ylona Garcia, Ryland James, Arlissa and most recently in July 2021 the new single LOVE YOU RIGHT from Walk Off The Earth x Lukas Graham, released via The Orchard. More exciting music has been scheduled for the remainder of 2021 with releases from Goodboys, Alok, Conrad Sewell, Alberto Urso and Charlotte Lawrence.

Michael produced the track TOGETHER IN THIS, recorded by Natasha Beddingfield for the animated film Jungle Beat and will have another placement in a new Netflix animated film Back To The Outback for release in November 2021 with Evie Irie – it continues a great string of synchs including TV shows The Rookie, The Bold Type, The Hills, Love Life, Love Island USA, 90 Day Fiance, Big Shot (Disney +), American Idol and most recently the promotional trailer for The L Word Generation.

Michael has had multiple Hot AC/CHR # 1 records and chart topping songs with Hillsong Young & Free and Hillsong UNITED/Hillsong Worship.
