SKY MONROE is a Latin American Artist and Music Producer (of Colombian descent). Born in Queens, New York and raised in Miami, Florida. Sky quickly decided on her passion for singing and music composition when she attended her first audition and sang a Mariah Carey song in acapella at the age of 9 years old. Coming from a musical family background, she gravitated naturally towards playing the piano and composing melodies at a very early stage. 

Seeking for a change and more stability, sky’s parents decided to uproot the family to Medellin, Colombia where sky would also partake in classical music theory to further develop her skills. However was short lived due to the political unrest at the time and for safety measures were forced to flee back to the states. Sky is not foreign to the struggle and as a youth witnessed and endured many personal challenges that helped feed her creativity and pave the way to her success as a musician. “Music became my therapy; my outlet and it was and still is the healthiest way to cope”. 

Quickly evolving into an avid musician Sky started performing in school talent shows to continue displaying her talents. This eventually led into writing and composing her own songs at the young age of 15. She then began to learn to craft songs and would soon be invited into sessions to assist in toplining and demoing songs for local and major artists. Soon, she started producing songs alongside Grammy Award Winning producers such as Federico Vindver, DJ Snake and Pitbull to name a few. 

Sky currently holds an extensive and diverse song catalog and continues to write and vocal produce for herself and other signed artists. Her music projects individuality while fusing Latin Pop, R&B, Reggae and elements of Hip-Hop.
