South West London born Will Heard is an exciting talent, with an undeniable voice, mature beyond his years. 

The British singer / songwriter brings a blend of Jazz, Hip-Hop & Soul, with an added element of Funk. Drawing inspiration from the likes of Prince, Jimi Hendrix, Nina Simone, Eric Clapton, Led Zeppelin, Amy Winehouse, Parliament Funkadelic, Bob Marley & Lauryn Hill to name but a few...

Will is not just a singer but also an avid musician. Through his love for music taught himself to play the guitar, saxophone, piano, bass and percussion. 

His first break came with signing his first publishing deal with the legendary producer Trevor Horn’s company Perfect Songs in 2012. In 2013, Will Heard had his first taste of success when he co-wrote and featured on Klangkarussell’s hit single “Sonnentanz (Sun Don’t Shine)”. Upon release it was the highest new entry in the UK singles chart at #3. 

This later lead to him working on records with the likes of Rudimental, Tom Misch, Disclosure, Tourist, Elli Ingram, Jimmy Napes and Dillon Francis. Will co-wrote & featured on 5 songs across Rudimental’s #1 sophomore album “We The Generation” and subsequently spent a year touring with the band.

With the focus shifted back to his solo career; Will went on to release his debut EP entitled ‘Trust’, featuring single ‘I Better Love You’, an upbeat electro soul song co-written & co-produced by Will. Which premiered as Mistajam’s Hottest Record on BBC Radio 1, before going on to become Clara Amfo’s Record of The Week.

Following the release of the EP; Will went on to do a number of sold out headline shows up and down the UK, playing venue such as Birmingham 02 Institute, Manchester Gorilla and Heaven London throughout 2017 & 2018.

Will has since been working on his yet to be titled debut album, which boasts collaboration with the like of Salaam Remi (Amy Winehouse, Lauryn Hill, Nas), Amir Amor (Rudimental, Octavian, Jess Glynn), Felix Joseph (Jorja Smith, AJ Tracey, Mahalia) and Stuart Zender (Jamiroquai, Duffy, Zak Abel) and is set to be release late 2020
